City of Lakeville Administrator Justin Miller Elected as League of Minnesota Cities President
Justin Miller, city administrator from Lakeville, was elected June 27 as the president of the League of Minnesota Cities for 2024-2025. Voting was held among League members at the organization’s Annual Conference in Rochester.
Miller has served as the Lakeville city administrator since December 2014. Prior to that, he served as Mendota Heights city administrator from 2011-2014, Falcon Heights city administrator from 2006-2011, and assistant city manager in Chanhassen from 2002-2006.
Miller began his public service career as an intern and management assistant in the Des Moines, Iowa city manager’s office. In 2020, he was awarded the League of Minnesota Cities James Miller Leadership Award, the League’s highest honor for appointed local government officials.
