Include cyber exercises in your emergency management planning.

AWR 432 Integrating Cyber Hazard Response into Exercise Planning

This course teaches planners how to incorporate cyber into all hazard exercises.

Exercise planners know cyber hazards exist. However, many do not have cyber experience that informs how to include hazards in an exercise. Also, they may not recognize how cyber hazards impact critical infrastructure. This course ensures exercise planning teams are aware of hazards related to cyber threats and how to address them within exercise programs.

After completing this course, you will be able to:

  • Discuss cyber as another hazard, with examples of the current threat landscape
  • Incorporate cyber events into exercises
  • Adding cyber exercises to existing exercise programs

This course is a joint offering between the League of Minnesota Cities, the Association of Minnesota Counties, and the Minnesota Counties Intergovernmental Trust.

NOTE: Attendees must bring a laptop or tablet. Smartphones will not suffice for this course
