First Part of Fiscal Year 2025 League Membership Fees Due Now

October 25, 2024

To account for the League’s fiscal year change, the 2025 budget will be spread over 16 months instead of 12 months.

In late September, the League of Minnesota Cities emailed invoices along with notices announcing membership dues for 2025 and explaining recent changes to the fiscal year calendar. Members who do not have a current email address on file with the League were sent copies via USPS mail.

The invoices are the first of a set of two to reflect an adjustment in the League’s fiscal year 2025 budget year, which will be spread across 16 months instead of 12 months. The new budget year runs from Sept. 1, 2024, through Dec. 31, 2025. The September invoices will cover the first four months and payment is due now. Additional invoices will be issued in January 2025 to account for the remaining twelve months of the newly established fiscal year. Following that, starting in 2026, members will receive one annual invoice each January.

Access to affordable training opportunities, consulting services, legislative advocacy, risk management, and the League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust’s comprehensive city-specific coverages for workers’ compensation and property/casualty are just a few of the benefits available through League membership.
