Minnesota Congressional Delegation Releases Congressionally Directed Spending Request Application for Federal Fiscal Year 2025
Eligible entities in Minnesota including cities can apply before April 26 for congressionally directed spending for the fiscal year 2025 appropriations process.
While Congress will not likely pass another full-year funding measure containing congressionally directed spending until late 2024 or early 2025, the portals are now open for congressionally directed spending requests.
Cities should review the eligible accounts and requirements (pdf) for congressionally directed spending requests and submit an application via the online portals listed below by April 26, 2024.
Cities seeking congressionally directed spending should submit requests to the offices of both Senator Tina Smith and Senator Amy Klobuchar as well as their congressional House representative if possible. Links to each elected leader’s office portal or official request form can be found below. Please note, some offices have not yet solidified their process and only those that have established their process or portals have been identified below:
